Neil Shouse - Managing Attorney

Southern California DUI Defense attorney Neil Shouse graduated with honors from UC Berkeley and Harvard Law School (and completed additional graduate studies at MIT). Mr. Shouse later served as Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County. During his five years with the D.A.'s Office, he prosecuted more than 60 criminal trials, and handled more than 1000 evidentiary hearings. He earned a reputation as one of the toughest and most successful trial prosecutors, with a 96% success rate in felony criminal jury trials to verdict.

As a Los Angeles prosecutor, Mr. Shouse learned the DUI process by working closely with CHP officers, drug recognition experts, accident reconstruction experts, and the forensic toxicologists who oversee DUI breath and blood alcohol testing. Drawing on this exposure to the inner workings of the DUI prosecution system, Mr. Shouse now defends citizens accused of DUI. He collaborates with a network of investigators, toxicology consultants and former DUI prosecutors, brainstorming to uncover the deficiencies in each DUI case.

Mr. Shouse belongs to the National College of DUI Defense, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the San Bernardino County Bar Association. He is involved with numerous community organizations and pro bono activities.

Mr. Shouse provides legal commentary to the national media on various criminal justice issues. He has been featured on Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News Channel, Court TV and Public Television.
